Complete information about kickers and more can be found here.

Instead of taking the Top X spots for rating, now there will be a point cutoff to determine who earns an invitation to the World Championships. For example, instead of taking the Top 40 ranked players, anyone who gets X points or higher will earn an invite. In addition, National Championship winners will now be awarded enough Championship Points to get an invite, not simply a direct invitation. Here are the point requirements by zone.

North America: 400
Europe: 400
Latin America: 200
Asia Pacific: 200

Battle Roads will not feature a top cut this year.

TopCut people, shows more than just battle roads information. I guess you missed it, but here!

They actually did release the rest of the information. I posted a link and my comment was removed, but check the championship points section. It has info on the cutoff, point structure for the rest of the season, and more!

There are going to be so many invites this year…
    Sounds good.

Well, there will be Top 32 for Worlds again, which is good.

Ok… I’m living in Switzerland… We don’t have Regionals, States or Cities, but just Battle Roads and Nationals. Required are 400 points.
Currently announced are 3 Fall Battle Roads, may be increased to 5 or
    6. Meaning that either you win Nationals, or you have no chance of
earning enough Championship Points to get the amount required even when
attending and winning all Battle Roads… And how come the neighbouring country Austria is in a higher category with almost the same population (8.4 mio. vs. 8 mio.)? Maybe I’m complaining too much, but it just seems a bit unfair to me.

Since I’m fairly new to the game competitively, I have little knowledge
of how it was before, but… well, I hope you get what I mean.

Maybe it depends on how many players there are in your country. It does seem unfair, but you might be a victim of not having enough players to get more events.

    Two things.

First of all, I’m pretty sure Battle Roads are one Play! Point.

And second, is it all Battle Roads that aren’t getting Top Cut or just the Autumn ones?
