lol What an entertaining video. Round is back and its quite strong. It has that high damage potential t2-t3 like tool drop does. Looking forward to more of this deck along with the “Round” songs that you play with it.

Hi there, was just wondering if you could link me to the tool drop list (it included virizion) that was posted under one of the videos recently? I can’t seem to find it again. Any help much appreciated! (:

Here’s a picture of Mike Diaz’s Tool Drop list. He made Top 4 at Philadelphia Regionals. https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/555519_691490890861763_324247514_n.jpg

Kyle, you did a fantastic job at regionals with Flareon! But with round, I don’t think anything less than 1st place will suffice!

Has Exploud rotated out of the format? It seems like it’d be a bit better, you only need 3 other rounders out to hit 200.

    1. C-Dub

Exploud’s Round attack does 50 damage but takes 4 colorless energy to use….which is hard to stream in a match. Kyle demonstrated in this match (against probably the deck’s worst possible matchup) that Seismitoad with a few bangles is the right way to go with this deck.

So why not play psychic instead of water energy? I mean that way you would be able to use round with meloetta as a last resort…

    1. Kyle Sucevich

I’m more likely to attack with Tympole (Bubble) or Palpitoad (Mud Shot) than I am to attach three Psychic Energy to Meloetta EX to use Round.

What would you put in instead of TB for those who are not good enough/don’t have the funds for them? Bikes?

        1. Kyle Sucevich

I would just play more Supporters.

Without beach I play with 2x Rescue Scarf. It really helps to keep your bench full of Rounds if you have to take hits.

Hi Pooka, what do you think of Gothitelle being reprinted in Legendary Treasures? Do you think the deck is going to return?

    1. Kyle Sucevich

If Virizion/Mewtwo remains popular, Gothitelle is going to have a tough time returning.

what should i take out for the beaches

Hey Kyle if you could make any improvements what would they be?

    1. Kyle Sucevich

I like the deck the way it is! I’d consider switching from Water to Psychic Energy, though.

      1. Vurt

        I use Psychic too.

Also, I ditched one palpitoad for a Sigilyph in order to create a wall against EX attackers in order to set up my Round Pokemon. Benefit of this is that Sigilyph uses Psychic and can do pretty decent damage with it’s attack as well– as long as their is no non EXs on your opponents board you can do some hurting, while you get all set up.

        Thoughts?

Since Super Rod is out of rotation, and TB is just a pain to get, what would you suggest putting in their place. I’m excited that round is back, I just trust your opinion over mine Kyle haha. And thanks :)

    1. Kyle Sucevich

Super Rod is in Dragon Vault, so it isn’t out of rotation. If you don’t have Tropical Beach, I would just run more Supporters.

      1. lordroto

oh snap I totally forgot that haha thanks on both accounts 😀

      2. A Mãe dos Leitores

I cant find Tropical Beach and N anywhere in my country. What would you suggest putting in their place? Maybe Cheren for Tropical Beach?

(sorry, im new to this game)

Is there anyway I could play something like this using the reprinted Emolga that has Call for Family to bring the little ones to base quicker? Or maybe a deck using that Emolga and the full art Mew EX which can use your opponents attacks? I’m not new to Pokemon, but new to the TCG and am just looking for something fun to play.

    Thanks for any help! :)

    1. Kyle Sucevich

In this deck, all of your bench spots need to go towards Pokémon with Round. Something like Emolga is just going to take up space and limit the amount of potential damage you can do.
