any thoughts on putting the new supporter elesa from legendary treasures in here?

It might be okay, but it’s very similar to Cilan. If anything, you would play one or two of them.

Do you have any follow-up thoughts on Plasma Badge + Colress Machine + Plasma Energy in this deck after you ran it many weeks ago? Is it worth losing consistency to make your deck faster?

I do like it, but another option is to run Virizion EX and Grass Energy to prevent Hypnotoxic Laser KOs. That way, you can use Exp. Share still.

Is it worth putting in keldeo since Lasers hurt a lot, and there’s already float stones so I can heal trubbish from poison/asleep?

This got 8th in a League Challenge today. It’s no joke! Out of 30 people.

I think one different card to make this deck a little better is to run a 3-1 line of sigilyph, the 3 being toolbox and the 1 being the safeguard that prevents damage from the ex’s for people like keldo and mewtwo. it has saved me quite a few times

do you think it’s smart to run a couple of Ghetsis to get rid of those annoying tool scrappers, specially when a sableye keeps getting them back?

So my wife and I just started playing and really enjoy this game. I came from the Magic world and it’s nice for a different change of pace. I gotta say this deck really got me excited about playing. I know you say it’s not so top tier, but is that b/c of its mechanics or the cards included? I guess, did you build it in such a way for it to affordable to beginners with the chance of it being optimized?

    1. Kyle Sucevich

The reason it’s not so top tier is because it has a lot of mechanics that are exploited easily. Between the low 70 HP and reliance on Pokémon Tools, the strategy has a lot of holes. However, it’s still pretty strong! A deck like this took 3rd at a Regional Championship this season.

I wanted to make this deck without putting too much money into it. Is there a particular set that has most of these cards?

    1. Kyle Sucevich

Here’s a guide on how to obtain cards for cheap. From scratch, this deck will cost about $50. http://thetopcut.net/2013/10/10/pokemon-tcg-guide-how-to-build-inexpensive-decks/

Heya, I really like this deck idea but do you think there is any way that I could put a reshiram ex or white kyurem ex into it?
    Thanks a lot.
