This is one tightly built deck. Theres not a lot of room for anything! It really does resemble Empoleon like you talked about in the video. I think this is a deck that is dangerous now (as shown in the video), but gets better and better as the format goes on and when the game slows down a bit after rotation. Without dark patch, yveltal is just a little bit slower at overwhelming your deck with evil balls, which has to be a major obstacle for this deck when it doesn’t get set up t2-t3.

Excellent creativity with this list Kyle. It looks good. I think the only thing I would change would be to swap out the megaphone for an energy retrieval or another grass energy. It seems like one might not even make a difference in the Garbodor matchup when they can just attach another tool after you remove theirs with that one megaphone. I certainly can understand the reasoning for including it though.

I would love to see more of this deck in action. I’ve watch about 6 of your deck building videos and this deck seems to be my favorite. Any chance we can see more matches with this deck to see how it plays? Maybe some suggestions on lowing the cost of this deck for someone starting out. What cards can be substituted for the time being?

Keep up the great work! I love these articles and videos.

I’ve been running that milotic with goodra with mixed results. I really like the healing goodra can get from the energy boost though.

An Iris or 2 could help give you a couple more damage if you ever fall short
