Michael Pramawat

Even though he has been playing the game since the Wizards of the Coast era, Michael has been a player who has somewhat flown under the radar until just recently. While he has won multiple State and Regional championships and placed well at Nationals and Worlds over the years, Pramawat finally got his breakthrough moment by taking 2nd at Worlds 2010. In fact, barring a diastrous topdeck in the finals from his opponent, he would have been World Champion. Although he often will play unusual cards in his deck, solid strategy and decision making allow Pram to win a lot of tournaments. At the end of the day, he is a fierce competitor who leaves everything on the table; you can see how important the game is to Pramawat just by watching him play.
